We are pleased to invite you to the BSSA Spring Event on Friday, 29 May 2026, which will take place in the Waterloo region from 11:00 to 17:30. This event is designed as an accessible yet content‑rich introduction to the Belgian self‑storage sector and is explicitly aimed at companies and organizations that are (not yet) members of the BSSA.

The Belgian Self Storage Association (BSSA) is the sector association that brings together self‑storage operators in Belgium with the aim of:

  • representing the interests of the sector
  • sharing knowledge and fostering professionalization
  • creating a strong network between operators and relevant partners

During this day, we will bring together:

  • existing BSSA members
  • potential new members
  • suppliers active in or connected to the sector

…in an informal yet professional setting, with a focus on dialogue, knowledge sharing, and meaningful connections.

What can you expect?

A short plenary introduction by the BSSA on:

  • the state of the self‑storage sector in Belgium and Europe
  • the role and ambitions of the BSSA
  • the concrete added value of membership

Plenty of time for networking
Engaging sessions on various topics
An informal lunch and reception
In the afternoon: a facility tour of Shurgard Waterloo

Important: This is not a trade fair and not a sales event, but a compact and relevant networking moment, with the BSSA acting as a neutral facilitator between operators and suppliers.

Practical – Participation & membership

Participation fee for the event is €175 (excl. VAT).
If you decide to become a BSSA member within 14 days after the event (by 12 June at the latest), this amount will be fully deducted from the membership fee.

Please note: places are limited. First come, first served.

The BSSA membership fee is:

  • €500 per year (including the first facility)
  • €125 per additional facility

The exact location and practical details will follow after confirmation but will remain in the Waterloo area.
